Jerry Lawler, a WWE legend, was taken to the hospital “after a probable stroke.”
Jerry “The King” Lawler, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, is allegedly in the hospital after experiencing a medical emergency.
The 73-year-old wrestling legend is said to have fallen ill on Monday at his Florida condo. He has made numerous appearances for WWE over the years as a commentator and Kickoff show panelist among other things (February 6).
Lawler had lunch with friends earlier in the day, according to PWInsider.
The legendary wrestler from Memphis is recovering after surgery after having a stroke at his home in Fort Myers, Florida, according to the local news source Action News 5.
In addition to having a stroke in 2018, he also had a heart attack live on air during a WWE Raw event six years prior.

He most recently made an appearance on Raw XXX to mark the 30th anniversary of the program.
Following the announcement, a lot of celebrities took to social media to express their condolences and prayers for Lawler, including Rock N’ Roll Express veteran Ricky Morton.
